I wanted to share one of my new favorite self care routines that I think everyone needs to be doing!
It's called dry brushing.
You've probably heard of it and I'm probably late to the game but wow, it's kinda life changing.
The reason I personally love it is because it makes your skin super soft and it helps with blood circulation! I am always cold and my blood doesn't circulate that well so this is a huge plus. Plus, it's just nice to take a few minutes out of your day to be good to your body!
What is a Dry Brush?
A dry brush is quite literally what it sounds like! It's a brush made of dry bristles that help to exfoliate! Always find a dry brush that is made of all natural bristles versus ones with plastic, it's just not good for your skin! Mine is made of Sisal fiber!

How to Dry Brush
Dry brushing is super easy! Just make sure you never brush too hard because you can cause micro-tears on your skin which in turn isn't benefiting you at all! So be gentle!
Always stroke the brush toward your heart! I start from my feet up towards my heart, then will do my arms toward my heart. Next I'll do my chest and stomach in circular motions versus strokes toward my heart. Then my back I just do strokes up towards my neck! I also do my neck up to my jawline only, I think a dry brush is way too rough for a face! Typically do 5-10 strokes in each area if you want the full benefits of exfoliation and all that!
I always dry brush before a shower (because you are shedding dead skin) and then will always use either a body butter or body oil after my shower to hydrate my skin!
